Dorset Mind are Providing support for mental health in Weymouth & Portland in two different projects
Active Monitoring is free, one-on-one coaching (not counselling) to overcome common emotional problems by teaching self-help strategies as accessibly and effectively as possible. The emotional difficulties they specialise in are; Stress, anxiety, depression, feeling alone, grief and loss, anger, and low self-esteem.
Participants identify what they would like to work on, and they give them good quality information about tried and tested self-help strategies. Over just 5x 20 minute sessions participants get to test out whether the strategies will help them in their unique situation.
