Dorset Race Equality Council is delighted to have received some funding from the Home Office to work in partnership with Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Citizens Advice and Citizens Advice in Dorset to raise awareness of the EU Settlement Scheme.
ABOUT EU SETTLEMENT SCHEME: Citizens Advice Bournemouth Christchurch & Poole will be working in partnership with Citizens Advice in Dorset and Dorset Race Equality Council to support European Union nationals applying for settled status in the UK. This Home Office funding targets ‘vulnerable’ EU nationals who will need additional help to make their on-line applications: this includes those with a disability, older people, those who have experienced abuse, modern slavery or trafficking, those with no fixed abode and vulnerable children.
Together the 3 organisations are building a team of engagement officers and caseworkers who will work on this particular project.
