The NHS in Dorset is thanking everyone for their support to-date and asking us all to continue taking measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

The COVID-19 vaccine roll-out is on a clear upward trajectory, with more than 200,000 doses delivered locally and rising every day.

However, all hospitals remain extremely busy. There are many seriously ill patients, and COVID-19 cases remain very high. 1 in 3 people who have the virus have shown no symptoms, so individuals could be spreading it without knowing it.

Therefore, it’s really very important not to be complacent and undo all the collective hard work and your personal sacrifices.
