#Weymouth Together is a network of local communities and organisations in Weymouth, usually meeting on the 1st Saturday of each month via zoom and sharing about local community initiatives and projects. It is open to all individuals and groups involved with Weymouth.
The next meeting of #Weymouth Together will be in person on Saturday 18 September from 10.00am and will take place at Tumbledown Farm, with a common theme around food and green issues.
It will coincide with the launch of the Great Big Green Week (GBGW), organised by the #WeymouthTogether network. GBGW will be running from Saturday 18 to Sunday 26 September 2021.
The Green Week will be a celebration of everything people in Dorchester, Weymouth and Portland are doing to improve our local environment and tackle climate change, as well as a call for our government to do more.
It will be an opportunity for us to celebrate together after the difficulties of the past year and look ahead to how we can create a cleaner, greener, healthier world.
