Was a lady living in the 18^th century Britain. Her mother was a slave, and her father was a British officer. She was raised by her uncle, in an aristocratic setting, and from what it seems like she had a good relationship with her careers and her cousin. Some historians still contemplate whether she was a slave to the Murray’s family and that she gained freedom later thanks to her uncle’s will in 1793, or that her uncle’s will was just a confirmation making her the heiress. There is a movie based on her story called Belle.
