We are excited to announce that on Tuesday 3rd May we will be holding an intersectional LGBTQ+/ ethnic minority film festival at Flirt Café in the Triangle, Bournemouth. Together with our partners from the LGBT+ Network for Change, we created the brief for this ground- breaking project that is being organised by Event Management students from Bournemouth University. The event, from 7- 10pm, will feature screenings of films that explore intersectional LGBTQ+/ ethnic minority identities and experiences, as well as presentations from guest speakers. There will also be an opportunity to join in discussions for those who wish to do so and to form friendships and alliances with others who wish to celebrate intersectional identities and promote the wellbeing and rights of this community. Please note that due to the adult content of some of the films, this event is for over 18s only. Tickets are free, but the capacity of the venue is limited so please book in advance to avoid disappointment.
