Independent Women’s Practitioner – Dorset

35hrs per week

The Open Service is looking to recruit an Independent Women’s Practitioner to provide empowering practical and emotional support to women on community sentences or coming out of prison to Dorset. The IWP, based in the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole areas, will establish strong working relationships with identified partners including probation, courts, police, prisons to ensure the development of effective service provision to women offenders as well as deliver a range of interventions, as part of a community sentence, to meet individual needs, aiming to prevent reoffending and to empower each woman.
