We want to invite you to a special meeting of Community Leaders from across the ethnic and minority groups across our area.
We are hosing a Zoom Workshop for community leaders supported by DREC and Community Alliances to discuss their challenges with a view to finding digital solutions that can help.
The challenges of not being able to meet physically in the numbers we used too has created obstacles and challenges as well as opportunities.
This Discovery Workshop will seek to brainstorm together ways that digital technology can help by discovering the problems we need help to solve.
DREC and Community Alliances are seeking funding together to support community leaders. Whilst the discovery workshop is open to all ideas some existing ideas include:
- Video-based technology to aid community leaders in spreading their message in new ways.
- To provide a unified messaging platform (enter once and distribute widely)
- Hybrid events (about 20-30 people) with online participation from a larger group using live streaming and other interaction
We are seeking 10 groups to work with on this project and we look forward to sharing more with you on the 22nd October 2020, 1.00 – 2.00 pm
