Today is the start of Black History Month Black History Month UK.

It is an opportunity for all of us to celebrate the positive contributions of Black People to our society.

We know that we should celebrate those contributions daily and we do, but as we have a dedicated month, we have decided to do a post daily on our Facebook page.

On the 27th October we will host a quiz with 40 questions covering the topics addressed in these posts so please pay attention to them if you want to take part.

The first five best respondents will receive a book Staying Power: The History of Black People in Britain by Peter Fryer, and the first person to receive the highest score will receive a voucher and the book so keep a close look on our daily posts.
