On
the Occasion of the
One World Festival
Dorchester
(Kings Playing Field) October 2009

OYEZ!
OYEZ!
OYEZ!
Dorchester, the County town, of
which we're really proud;
Its
praises I will gladly sing, as crier, really loud.
But
when an ugly incident picks on one undefended,
Then
we will do all we need to do to see such practice ended.
So when Khalique was beaten up, because his skin was brown,
Twas
time to broadcast facts and truths and put the bigots down.
For
we all share the same one world - we've all the right to live,
And
we shall fight for what is right till we've no more to give!
Today
let's celebrate in Dorch. All nations, colours, creeds
And
Vow to treat as equals all those with common needs.
So
here's to our town, the County town, let it boldly lead the way
To
a fairer world, a festive world where justice holds full sway.
GOD SAVE THE
QUEEN
